Boy Scouts of America Prepared for Life

Welcome

Troop 180 meets on Tuesday nights from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at Mountain View Church. We currently have Scouts, 11 to 17 years of age, in ranks from Scout through Life and have both a boys troop (Troop 180B) and a girls troop (Troop 180G). The troop produces multiple Eagle Scouts each year due to our extensive program, outstanding adult leadership and active Scout advancement.

Our activities include camping, backpacking, biking, canoeing, hiking, cooking, fishing, and others. We aim for at least one overnight trip and one day or patrol event per month. The Troop attends summer camp every year with scouts participating in all of the programs at multiple locations. We teach multiple merit badges within our Troop, such as First Aid and Cooking and attend Merit Badge College when it is offered.
